Xperia 1 MK V Adaptive Brightness keeps turning itself on

As per the title, since the latest update the Adaptive brightness keeps turning itself on, turn it off via settings and within an hour it's back on and it's dimmed your screen. Any Ideas, is it a known issue since the latest update.
