Sony Xperia 10 III

Hello,

I am about to buy the upcoming Xperia 10 III. I am not experienced with Xperia smartphones. My last Sony device was the W760i (;-).

Can someone say, whether it is possible to run Xperia devices without Google apps? Will I loose some functionality, if I unlock the bootloader?

I don't know, if there will be some custom ROM development for this device, but maybe it's possible to run plain AOSP.
