Xperia 5 ii - GPS drops out while charging phone in a car

Hi, I don't know if this is a bug, or a fault, but I travel a lot, so I use Google maps in the car and have noticed that when I plug my phone into a USB port in the car, to charge it - the phone very quickly loses contact with GPS. When I unplug the USB cable, GPS is restored... This does not seem to occur if I plug into a 12v (Cigar lighter) socket.

Anyone else got this problem?

Hi there, If you're using the Google Maps App , did you try to clear cache and data for the app while connected to the car and does the issue still happen with you after that?
