Hi,
has anyone have problem with the XPeria 5 (model XQ-AS52)regarding the USB port that is complaining for presence for humidity where in addition auto identification of plugged in devices i.e. speakers reported as failed?
in addition, the phone looses quite often the 5G/4G signal reverting to 3G/Edge. I state this since the behavior is similar to the one observed with an XZ3 device I had. That one, started with the USB humidity, after couple of months the 4G signal is lost, soon after the 2G as well and finally the WiFi.
Now after 4-5 years with the xperia5 I notice similar symptoms... Supposedly the Xperia 5 can cope with dust and humidity or even water drops much better than the XZ series.
So,
either the USB port is not constructed in accordance to the humidity specs that Sony claims!!!! leaving water coming-in and then corrosive starts of the radio board
or there is a SW bug???? which is quite strange for this behavior.
I think is either design problem or bad material choice...
DO anyone else has observed similar behavior?
thanks/Nikos
