I have the AS100 and it has a tiny mount hread at the front of the camera. I don't know what size it is but it's smaller than the standard 1/4" tripod mount, which means that there isn't a tripod mount adapter or any accessories to fit.
The only options I know of are:
Waterproof case
If you use the waterproof case you can use any ports and you get muffled sound.
Skeleton frame
I have this frame and it's a down right rip-off. It's not worth any more £5, the build quality is shocking. The frame is a loose fit on the AS100 so the camera shakes around. What's more, if you use the L shaped bracket, the plastic is very weak and flexible. Even worse, sony designed this case in a way that means you can't use the les protector. Just why?
Is there anything I'm missing? It seems all the accosories out there need a 1/4" mount to work.
