A58 compatibly with sigma lenses

Hi I have a Sony a58 and have recently picked up a sigma 50-500mm 1:4-6:3 APO lens but they don’t seem compatible. Is there a mounting that I could use for this please. I am quite new to this lens changing thing....

I believe there are a number of different versions of that Lens so it depends on what mount

it has. The A58 camera is an A mount.

Do you have a product code for the lens?
