I am going nuts over here. I bought an A6500 from Amazon over Xmas & since then I have had nothing but trouble trying to register then camera & claim the cash back offer.
From what i believe I filled the form in correctly for the cashback & submitted the proof of purchase with no errors coming back. I did receive an email stating if I had trouble sending the POP I could attach them to this email & send it back. I tried this, just to be sure but the mail came back saying no such address! But i do have a cashback claim code (hopeful)
Everytime i try to log into sony.ie is tells me the account has been locked due to multipule log in attempts. Someone suggested i reset the password, that works but if i try later to log in the same thing happens.
Today I finally seemed to be getting somewhere as after resetting password & logging in it suggested I upgrade my account so i can use it with all Sony online stuff. I did this & I got an email welcoming me to Sony etc.
I have just logged in now & my registered products that used to be there - a TV & the A6500 have now dissapeared. They were there before i went for the upgrade option.
If i try to register them again it tells me these are already registered. I've had a month of nothing but issues with this whole process. What are the chances of me actually receiving the cashback on this camera? I am really tempted to just return it all back to Amazon & be done with it.

Don'y worry, you're not on your own.
Other members have reported cashback problems however
most (if not all) of them have been sorted by phoning Support on
