Hi thanks for the link  have had a look and u are correct about it not being in the list 

but it has the same connection as a lot of the old flash units. I used this on my 

Minolta dynax 700si film camera it will fit on the a68 with the adapter but my

concern is if it will brick my camera

Hi IDUNWORKING,

Since Sony didn't mention that both devices are fully compatible, I am afraid that the fully functionality cannot be really guaranteed.

But if you've both devices, just test them and let me know how did it go.
