I have seen a couple of postings that provide some info on lenses that are/are not DMF compatible.

However, there are other lenses like the 18-250 (SAL-18250) that implies some compatibility in the online manual but it is not as specific as the 18-135, which is very clear in the online manual that it does support DMF.
As I understand it from other posts, SSM lenses have DMF capability in the lens so no problem. SAM lenses are only supported it their clutch can be electronically disabled by control from the camera. Unfortunately Sony are not that clear which lenses this applies to.
Anyone have experience/info on DMF for 18-250?
