hi, just purchased the above.
sony is offering an 'extended +1 year warranty offer' ?

does this vague wording mean (in the UK) this is for the UK legally required Minimum of one year '+1 year'?
(ie TWO years in total)
- also I have registered the product via 'my sony' and it is listed on my page but have NOT received any;
"You will receive your unique extended warranty activation code and instructions on how to activate it by email"
If you've just registered for it, give it 1-2 days for the email to arrive, and also check spam and trash since that's usually where all offer/promotion emails go. 😅
As for the wording, it says +1 since not all European countries have the same standard length, so +1 year makes a lot of sense to use here. In the UK, it's 1 year standard, so this means a total of 2 years.
