Main reason for staying with Sony is that I have around 6 minolta/sigma lenses Minolta 50/f1.7, 17/35 f2.8/4 zoom, 28/85 f3.5/4 zoom, and sigma - .24/f2.8, 400/f5.6 and 70/300 f4/5.6.
Will they be compatible with the a77 or a900? What about HDR shots in both as I take church interiors and memorials for family history.
If not compatible then may as well go for Nikon or Canon as the D7 has never been reliable on exposure when compared with a meter reading either incident or reflected light. Are the new models any better?
thanks in anticipation

With the live histogram display in the electronic viewfinder you may be sure of a correct exposure.

if coming from a 7D I think that you will find the A900 less of a culture shock.
& if you are a landscape shooter it's probably the better choice.
Your Minolta lenses should work fine but your Sigmas are a tossup depending upon how old they are & their chips.
