memory stick pro duo (4 gb) write protected

Hello,

i have had this memory stick for quite a long time and suddenly it has become write protected, for i do not remember anything about making it proteced.:smileyconfused: dsc-w130

it it rather irritating that i cannot delete my pictures from the computer, because i get this message everytime i want to delete a picture, and how do I remove this protection?:smileyangry:

Hi RitaHa, welcome to the Sony Forums

Have a look on the back of the MemoryStick, there may be a small switch to lock/unlock.

Hello Mick2011,

Sorry for my late answer.

We cannot see the small switch on the thin memory card, and therefore I took it to a photo dealer. She looked at it and the she said that I should delete my photoes on the camera, because the card could be damaged by always deleting them on the computer.
