I've had a very strange problem with my VG20. After recording a very long file (1h 30mins) only the first 3 files were usable. All the other files on the card were not read as video files. This was a 32Gb Transcend class 10.
I repeated the process just to check with a different SD card (Sandisk class 10) and the same thing happened at the same file count. Could there be a problem with the SD drive writer or could this be a firmware problem? I'm ruling out both the SD cards failing at the same point that's just too unlikely.
A contributory factor may have been accidentally removing the battery while the camera was in STBY (the screen was closed and I didn't notice it was on) after the first card was recorded but before the camera was shut down.
The data is lost but any clues to repairing the issue with the camera would be most welcome.
