NEX5 Battery life

the battery on my camera doesn't hold its charge.  i can charge it fully and next time (say a month) i go to use it it's flat.  it's definitely turned off but the light is still attached.

Do you have the latest firmware update? It addressed this problem, according to the support page: http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/NEX-5/downloads/FW_NEX5_V05_WIN
