PMB won't play video's after XP re-install

Hi Folks

Have just reinstalled XP Home and find videos wont play. Can see them in PMB but when I try to play I get a black screen with an "S" in the middle.

Telephonrd Tech Support but they refused to help me.

Reloaded PMB, downloaded the 165MB Uodater file (!) AND the MS SONY - WindowsXP-KB932716-v2-x86-ENU. Still nothing.

Anyone got any suggestions because I will sell my camera if Sony won't support their software.

Hi

try download VLC

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

and see if that works that will tell you if the problem is with xp.
