Recommendation for first ever camera

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting either the Sony A7ii or the A7iii for my first camera. At first I was really leaning towards A7ii as the low price point was rehttps://vshare.onl/ ally appealing to me, but as I did more research, the A7iii seemed way too good for me to pass on. Should I make the extra $1000 investment for an A7iii or just start with something cheaper like the A7ii leaving me with more money for lensehttps://omegle.onl/ s and other gears. I'm not that interested in taking videos so 4K doesn't really matter me.

Hello @clinthulk2,

you nearly answered your question while asking it - yes, a less expensive camera will give you more money for lenses and other accessories - yet if I were you, I would take "future proofin" into consideration.

By getting the a7ii you would not be able to shoot 4K video while with the a7iii you would be able to.

Maybe now you say "I don't want to shoot 4K or video at all" - but believe me - if you ever want to further down the line, you will think "why didn't I get the a7iii instead?".

hello and welcome      -there many answers to your question- what camera-it depends on far you want to go with your photography-as it can be very expensive the deeper you go we all start with good intentions  but photography does grow on you    the sony a711 is a very good camera for you to start with with some very good lenses to work with-as you get further int sony cameras a very good choice by the way-we now get into mirrorless and seems to be the way cameras are going--but as a starter  my choice would be the a7 mark11 an old saying dont run  before you can walk  all the best  for your choice enjoy your photograpy       madge115
