Repeat Q. what version of LR will support my new sonya6300 RAW files?

Hi...seems to be some confusion re. this. I don't want to spend money and not be able to use RAW files from this , already expensive camera.   thanks.

what exaclty is your question?

Do you want to know which version of LightRoom (LR) is compatible with the RAW image format of the a6300 camera or do you mean something else by "LR"?

Yes, what version of Lightroom will support Raw files from my new a6300 camera. My current version  ( 5.4) does not.

I have a feeling of Déja vu here, download Adobe DNG (free) current version 10.1. Convert your ARW (RAW) files to DNG files and import them into Lightroom - I'm using LR 3.6 and it works just fine.

The main issue is how you organise your workflow. Import your ARW files into one folder, save the DNG files into another. Save the DNG files as either Jpg (8bit) or TIFF(16bit) into a third folder...
