Sony A7iii won’t turn on

So I used my camera a week ago and it’s worked absolutely fine. Then a couple days ago I decided I’d back up everything from my memory card however my camera would not turn on. I tried plugging my camera in from the AC adapter but nothing. I then charged the battery in an external dock and it still won’t work. I’ve bought new batteries and they also won’t work. Has anyone had a similar issue and know a fix?

First: Same with and without SD card?

If so, best option is try a reset.

I can imagine the display isn't displaying.

Connect a HDMI cable from your camera to a monitor.

Use a HDMI to mini HDMI connector (5-10 euros)

Push the playback button which switches your camera on.

Push the menu button.

If you're lucky you can see the menu and find the option to reset your camera.

Do a reset.
