Sony Cashback 2019 SCAM

Where do i start...

On Amazon UK prime day (15th july) i went ahead and purchased three different sony cameras

 

RX100 III

A6500

A7K

 

Around mid august (after the 30 day elapsed from purchase date) i put through my cashback claims, picture of the camera body with serial number + amazon invoice with all required details..

 

for a few weeks i heard nothing so i started to call the 02073652810 phone number, speaking to various people about the status of my claim. One of the agents insisted two of the claims didn't have the serial number photo attached (which is impossible as you cannot submit a claim via the website without it)... in anycase i emailed him the serials and he "attached them" to my claim...

 

Few more week pass with no responses, so i keep chasing..

 

Today i received an email from campaign.administrator.en@eu.sony.com - notifying me that they investigated my claims and have concluded that the claims are NOT VALID. Due to this, they have informed me that i am now officially blacklisted from all current and future sony campaigns.

 

They included absolutely NOTHING about why my claims have been rejected or why i have been blacklisted. I called the helpline number above and got the "we can't do anything" response.

 

I'm not one to take this lying down as i am due £550+ in cashback from these three camera bodies i purchased in good faith!!!

 

I have contacted Amazon who said they will deal with sony in getting this cashback sorted, however i am not going to hold my breath so if amazon get nowhere i'll be launching a claim via the courts for the monies i am due.

 

I switched my canon to sony.... what a big mistake that was... I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY PRODUCT AGAIN.
