Sony FE 400mm f2.8 GM OSS lens and a7RIII

When checking the compability of the lens sheet, the older a7RII is fully compatible (checkmarked), but the newer a7RIII is not, missing the third setting/switch for OSS and if choosen it will use the first setting only. How come?

Will there be an firmware uppgrade for the a7RIII to be fully comatible?

I really hope so as I made an order for this expensive lens and wold hate if this expensive combo would be crippled in that way.

I know how to uppgrade the Sony cameras and lenses already.

Camparing the three topp-models:

Old: The a7RII is fully compatible.

Newer: The a9 seems to be fully compatible.

Newest: The a7RIII is NOT fully compatible. >>>> Så why isn't this fully compatible???

Ok, they added the V.2.0 update for the a7RIII a few weeks ago so I guess it's fine now, but Sony hasn't updated their compability list yet though.

Wonder when the lens will be acailable, made an order July, 25 and still not a word or hint... 😕
