Tethered shooting

I have downloaded Catalina to my MacBook and now I can't shoot tethered.  When I try to connect the camera the imaging edge crashes and a report is sent to Apple.  Is there anything I can do.  I've considered deleting and reinstalling the software.

Thank you.  I've just spoken to someone who has told me that Imaging Edge is not compatible with Catalina so I have to wait for their update. I'm not happy but it is what it is.

Hello @marietait34,

I suspect macOS Catalina introduced a compatibility issue.

Give the developers of Imaging Edge a few days to provide a fix for the issue.

You can also check the download-page of Imaging Edge to find out if there is a new version.

Thank you. I’ll try again next week and check if there is a new version.

Is it possible to talk to or email someone at Sony.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Imaging Edge software and it is still crashing.  I can't be the only person to be having problems or am I?  I've been going round in circles trying to find contact details.

I can't shoot tethered anymore either after installing Catalina. The Remote app doesn't crash but displays the dreaded non connection warning despite me quitting Dropbox, Google Backup and Lightroom. Any ideas? I use my camera for work so this is a bit of a crisis!
