Time sync from mobile?

Hi.

Is there a way to sync the time/date from the mobile app to the camera? When working with multiple cameras it would be very nice to get the exact time stamp on the photos.

It's an A7 III, but I guess there would alos have to be some functionality in the mobile or PC app to support this - and I can't find anything.
(My Olympus OM-D E-M1 gets a time sync every time it is connected to the mobile phone).

I've just had a look into the help guide of the camera. I found that the camera on its own is incapable of putting a date stamp on pictures, this has to be done through Play Memories Home on PC. You can find this here: http://bit.ly/2IpjAnm.

I'm not talking about printing the time on the picture. The camera will of course put the capture time and date into the metadata for the picture - like every other digital camera.

What I need is a time sync function from PC or mobile to get the correct time.

Hi Thor,

If you're only concerned with the time / date stamp in the metadata, you should have it set reliably by making sure the date and time settings on each of your cameras is set correctly.

Exactly. And if there were a way to sync the date/time from PC or mobile it would be the best solution to get the excact time.
