Went back to the NEX-5

It is not often that I get time to actually play around with the NEX-5 anymore compared to when I first got it but even after all the knocks and bruises mine has, I gave it a good run on Sunday and I still love it to bits! The 18-55 is still great on camera and still yet to find fault with it. Manual peak focus is the best thing since mashed potatoes.

I am looking forward to trying out the focus speeds on the NEX-7 when it is out for video. I mean hands on already, it was pretty sweet but need to actually live with one now.

I think the only thing that I could say that I am still finding a laborious task is the fact that sleep mode cannot be switched off.

Yeah I was cleaning up the final footage last night and accidentally deleted one. I have now updated. It still surprises me how well this performs in mixed lighting conditions and low light. Now to get myself one of the SLT's
