A90J OLED TV - Centre Speaker?

Hi All,

I have the AG9 OLED 55" TV & may possibly get the 65" A90J for the living room.

Q:- Does anybody know if the new A90J has the centre speaker connection option for AV receivers like the AG9 or has Sony dropped this feature, since I looked at specifications for the A90J & this feature is not there?

If this is the case, this is a bad move by Sony for Cinema setup, which I would have used for 7.1 & TV as centre speaker.

This is a unique selling point for Sony, if dropping this feature it will makes people look elsewhere i.e. LG etc.

Looks like you're right about it being missing from the specs.

But it's still quite early and if you try contacting Sony support, they confirm that full information about the new TVs isn't available publicly yet, so we can only wait.

I sent Sony a message & got this response.

I thought so, usually takes a bit after an announcement for information to be available (mainly to increase hype and generate traction, which is understandable even though it's almost always annoying 🤷🏻‍♂️).

A90J will have the center speaker mode according to this pictures...but better wait and see for "official release"  because Sony can drop the feature last minut.
