AF9 does multiple panel refreshes after update

Since the latest update the above TV keeps asking you to do a panel refresh even if it was only done a week ago. I thought it only happens after 2000 hours? 

Mine had only done 1500 hours but it asked to do it so I did. Then a week later it asked again. This is happening to a lot of people on the forums and not just me. In the Sony instructions there’s a warning that says the refresh must not be run more than once a year because it can damage the tv. 

This is a very serious concern and something has made this happen in the latest update. Please look into it.

Apologies, forgot to say I have done 2 factory resets. The issue prevails 😞

What's the software version of the TV? I think you can find it by pressing the help button and choosing system information.
