Hope Sony go directly to Android N 7.0 and update our 2015, 2016 TVs!!!!!!! This is something we can expect I think, at least 24 months of updates as mobile phones?

We've been told Marshmallow would be available by the end of summer (for at least half a year now), not holding my breath for an update any time soon!

@kaplox: My thoughts exactly. Android N Betas were available since early time. If I would work by Sony, I would start the developing for N from the firs available release and skip Android 6 completely.

Hi Guys and Girls!

Yesterday I red some interesting news...

According to the US Sony Forum some 2015 Bravias are getting Marshmallow updates, although the responses are not quite positive...

Hi @djmickey83

My opinion is that we should wait. We are all impatient to Update but as I saw there are already new problems on this.

Netflix previous embedded version than CANNOT be updated, basic operational issues(volume "jumps"), Picture adjustment "slowness" and ... possibly others.

I believe that this should be wise to wait a little more if we want a good new OS in EU and UK.

Me too. But I need an operating TV during Xmas holidays :smileylaugh::smileylaugh::smileylaugh:

I cannot trust them anymore. Every time doing an Update my thought is on an upcoming DISASTER ...... specifically bootloop :smileylaugh::smileylaugh::smileylaugh:

@MiCal1967 - The bootloop issue when applying FW updates should be fixed now.  However this doesnt mean that there are other possible causes.
