Bravia firmware update May 2019

I have 2 Bravia models and use these to watch video content streamed from my WD Mycloud. in the last 2 days both TVs have ceased to recognise the video content on the Mycloud. Both TVs have good wifi connectivity and the Mycloud works perfectly fine thru Ipads. PC and mobile phone.

I am starting to suspect there may have been an update that has changed the way the devices content works. Can anyone confirm if they are having similar problems. First noticed around 29/30th May.

yes, factory reset carried out on both Bravia TVs confirms that ‘no content
available’ on my server. Even though the music titles are visible the
content is not. I know the server is ok as I can access all content on
ipad/pc.

Looks like Sony have introduced Digital Rights Management restrictions on a
firmware update.

Can you confirm that this is the case please so I can stop wasting my time
trying to fix it.
thx

Hi there,

Have you tried a factory reset?

Best wishes,
