Bravia KD-43X85K start up

I have recently bought a Bravia KD-43X85K to replace an older Sony TV. The picture is great, the sound is ok and I like the fact that all the catch up services are now available (couldn't even get the BBC i-player on my old TV, it stopped working), but I do not like the way that when I turn the TV on it goes into the Google screen and I then have to press 2 more buttons just to watch a programme. I want to be able to turn it on and it go straight to the programme, but I can't find a way to do this. Is there any way of doing this?

Press the setup button (looks like a cog wheel) on your remote. If you don’t see Power on behaviour in the choices move over to the far right, Edit and add it to the list. Change this to Last used input and your TV should start where you left off.

That's what I thought,and the first thing I tried. Unfortunately it doesn't take me back to where I left off, it takes it back to the last device that was used, so goes to HDMI 4 even when I haven't used that for days. Have now gone back to Google screen.
