Can't see my NAS server on KD-49XG8096

I've just bought a KD-49XG8096, and want to stream from a NAS drive. When I go to Settings -> Network -> Home network setup -> Server diagnostics, the NAS drive is there and connected (see pic)

However, I can't see it anywhere in the TV. Should it appear as an input when I select input list? Do I need to do any other setup?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Hi @Hogsmill

You need to open up a media App. You could use the system Apps like Music, Video or Album or download an App like VLC for all types of media file. Once you are in you should see your NAS in browsing the Local Network.

Hi There

Thanks for that. I added the app "Album", and could see the NAS drive the first time I opened it. However, it now no longer appears, and I just get a couple of sample pictures. Any ideas? The NAS is definitely still connected when I run diagnostics...

Cheers
