I bought a Sony Bravia XD9005 series based on quality of picture AND ANDROID TV.  As Sony cannot manage their way out of a paper bag all local streaming apps have been removed WITHOUT MY CONSENT.  I have discovered that due to performance issues (I never had) or licensing issues BBC iPlayer, ITV player, All4 and My5 are no longer supported on this garbage TV. The whole point of the TV was to have an Android OS. What I bought was a pretend Android Sony esque OS tv which is now as dumb as me for buying the thing. You can stick it Sony. NEVER AGAIN

What is the full model number of your TV as I cannot find any XD9005s.

I find it very difficult to believe that Sony has removed the catch up players from a 2016 TV. You haven’t disabled YouView have you?

If they have, would you please provide the link to the withdrawal article. I’m sure that it will be of interest to many on here.
