God of War PS4 will not work in HDR mode on my Sony X930E

Hi there,

I have my X930e and PS4 properly set up for HDR mode. I am able to play Destiny 2 and Horizon: Zero Dawn in HDR without issue, but when I play God of War the TV only temporarily switches to HDR. It will switch to HDR at main loading screen (when you see the white God of War text with the mountain in the background) but once that screen clears the TV immediately goes back into SDR mode and I can't get it back to HDR. I've tried cycling the power on the TV and resetting the PS4 but to no avail. Anyone here experienced similar issues? It seems to be isolated to this one game. No other games causing this issue.

Welcome to our community!

Since the issue happens with one game only, it doesn't seem like an issue with the console itself or the TV. One effective way to know for sure what is causing this is to try testing the same game with this console on a different TV and/or another PS 4 on the same TV.

I Just got this game at the weekend, works a treat on my XE90. Not changed any settings and HDR is working fine. Have you checked the HDR setting is definitely enabled in the display options within GoW?
