Horrendous Customer Services

Sony customer services is atrocious!! Bought a tv from John Lewis last year. It kept switching itself off, Sony replaced the set. This one vibrates during some audio, depending on the frequency. Contacted Sony on day one to report the issue and they’ve done nothing but fob me off. Asking for recordings, giving me pointless advice, telling me to buy a sound bar and today telling me the fault is within the “tolerance” of the tv set. Please note that what it sounds like on a iPhone recording is very different to real life. This has been mentioned several times. I’ve requested an engineer time and time again and have been ignored. In fact I get the impression these Sony representatives have enjoyed messing me about for the last 6 months. John Lewis won’t help me as the original set was replaced by Sony within its first years warranty (yes I know, poor also)

At this point I don’t know what to do. This Oled TV wasn’t cheap. I have a feeling that I may have rights in the UK that aren’t being listened to, but at this point I’m not sure what else to do. I could buy a sound bar etc, but I shouldn’t need to. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I would take it to the top. No harm in emailing (writing if necessary) the CEO of Sony UK. The quickest way to get his address is the perform a Bing search from Microsoft Edge "sony uk ceo email".

This has crossed my mind, didn’t find it however. Will have to have a better look. 

I'm shocked to be honest that something hasn’t done by Sony. I mean I rejected this set in Day 1! 

I'm hoping someone will go has some power reads this 🫤
