iplayer not connecting

Help needed we have a KD-43XE8396BU which we have had since January 2018.  For some reason we cannot get BBC iplayer to work keeps coming up with a message Temporary fault  please try again later.  We have tried everything possible but it will not work.

I have the same issue.  I've tried everything (hard reset, cache cleared, logged out and back in) and still can't get it to work.

Weirdly, my TV wouldn't start up, at all, on Sunday so I had to factory reset it again by unplugging and leaving. 

Of course, now iPlayer works just fine...
