Hi,
I have recently purchased a Bravia KD49XE8396, had it for about 3 weeks.
I bought this in the knowledge it was an edge lit set but now wondering if I should have gone for the 49XE9005 which is direct lit.
The problem I'm having is with the picture near the edge of the screen seems to be slightly washed out even with the brightness settings set low. Any tips for optimisation as I'm probably stuck with this set now.
I haven't watched anything in 4k yet as our Internet here is very poor but will be connected to superfamily fibre soon when gigaclear pull their finger out! I have only watched HD and Sd recordings and broadcasts via hdmi.
I'm happy with the android operating system and the other features that come with set but
Some advice would be appreciated.
