KD49XH9505 - 'Channel list edit' greyed out

Bought a KD49XH9505 (UK) and I'm trying to edit the Freeview channel list but the option is greyed out. Any suggestions for making it active again?

Latest software has been uploaded and I've tried disabling YouView, as has been suggested a couple of times when searching the problem.

Thanks.

OK - sorted this out by accident! If [Channel list edit] is greyed out, go [Watching TV] > [TV button shortcut].

If [Digital (Live TV & Catch Up)] is selected, change it to just [Digital], which should be the next option down. Go back into [Watching TV] > [Channels], and [Channel list edit] should now be in white text and clickable.

Usually, it's the YouView option making this inaccessible, but you can also try removing the satellite connection and just using the aerial (or restarting the TV by holding power).

Thanks Joe. I don't have a satellite connection - only the digital aerial connection. I've tried restarting a couple of times (and also done two factory resets), but the problem's still there.

Even disabling YouView (or 'Live TV and Catch Up' as it's called on my Apps menu) doesn't make any difference, although I have been able to sort some channels on my Mac using the channel edit software.

Check out this bug. You may have to perform a full scan instead of a provider scan.

I recommend editing the channel list on a PC via respective editor.

Thanks for the link - there isn't a 'Cable TV (Others)' option in the menus as far as I can see, but there was a 'Normal/Extended' option in the 'Tuning Range'  section. Unfortunately, rescanning with the 'Extended' setting hasn't solved the problem.
