Naming of Bravia Sync inputs on Android TV

TV is a KD65X8509 (android TV), connected to a Sony RHT-G11 sound system. 3 inputs to the RGH-G11, for BlueRay, XB1 (CEC-Tray), and Sky+HD box.

The problem I have is that one of these inputs (player 2 on HDMI4) doesn't display correctly on the INPUT SELECTION option:

Nor on the HOME screen:

It's correctly detected in the Bravia Sync device list:

And also correctly displays if I select Bravia Sync inputs from the ACTION MENU

Any ideas how to force the INPUT SELECT and HOME SCREEN to correctly display the Bravia Sync (CEC) name for this input?

EDIT: Possibly connected to item 15 on the "known issues" list, so can this issue be added to that one, thanks.  http://community.sony.co.uk/t5/televisions/2015-android-tv-bugs-and-issues/m-p/2047983#M35186

Fixed using the Ireland/EU firmware.

Interesting indeed.  Thank you for confirming this.  Hopefully this replicates over to the long awaited for UK firmware release in Feb.

Unfortunately, after a reboot of the TV, the problem is back 😞

If you reset your AV Amp to factory defaults it should fix it. This worked for me.

So, this does seem to be almost fixed using the EU/Ireland firmware v3.169.  On the old UK version of the firmware, I could NEVER get the inputs to get their CEC labels correctly.  With the v3.169, the inputs do all get their names correctly, but it sometimes takes some time after a re-boot for them to appear.  Once they appear correct, they stay correct.

So, definate progress, which hopefully will carry over to the UK firmware whenever that gets released.

I have exactly the same problem with KD-55S8505C in UK. Should I switch to the EU firmware? Thanks.
