new firmware...

any experience with new firmware v6.1004 from 15/03/2017 for tv sets:

 

  • KD-50SD8005
  • KD-49XD8305
  • KD-49XD8099
  • KD-49XD8088
  • KD-49XD8077
  • KD-49XD8005... etc

 

any visible improvments?

I have auto updating turned off but did spot this release earlier. The notes only mention 'improved channel sorting'.

 

Anyhow, I tired a manual scan (internet connectivity is good) and was rewarded with a message saying my system is up to date. Version showing for me is PKG6.0614.0004EVA

 

I tried twice and got the same result each time. TV is a KD43XD8305 and the firmware update is showing in 'My Sony' as available.

actually same thing in my case...

 

auto update off, manualy "you tv is up to date"

 

strange...

 

My tv is updated 30/11/2016.

 

my tv is dx8077 and new update should be 15/03/2017
