I'm currently looking at buying a new 2018 released XF90 TV and XF9000 Soundbar (Dolby Atmos).
I've noticed that the soundbar only has 1 input socket.
Does anyone know if I'd be able to get full HD bitrate (Dolby Atmos / DTS:X) from more than one device?
From what I can make out, I'd either need an external HDMI switch.
As far as I know, ARC through HDMI is currently limited to standard 5.1 surround sound. 2 directional HD audio is introduced in HDMI 2.1 but no TVs or Soundbars have this standard yet (2019 models likely).
So for example, if I have a PS4 Pro, a 4K Blu-Ray player and a 4K Virgin Media box - only 1 of them will be able to send HD audio to the Soundbar.
If this is the case, this is very disappointing from a 2018 Dolby Atmos soundbar - especially as my 2014 Sony soundbar has multiple inputs.
I'm hoping someone can say differently.

Hi @danlat1417. I am waiting for the HT-ZF9 which has two inputs plus you can add two wireless surround speakers (SA-Z9R) at a later date.
