Probelm Sony BRAVIA

Hello! I have a problem, I have a TV Sony BRAVIA KD-49XF90xx taken in 2018 diagonal 123 cm. Last night, the TV simply doesn't capture my image, it only has sound, it receives all the commands from the remote control and it connects to the application (the sound is heard) but it has no image. Even through hdmi to other devices I can only connect without an image. I was told that after diagnosing the equipment, a malfunction of the LCD panel was found. I was recommended to replace the TV. please answer me how it was possible that after only 2 and a half years it suddenly broke down, and there really is no cheaper way to recover? At this time, I personally begin to lose interest in Sony LCDs, given that I have not been given any explanation for why it broke down! Thank you!

The reason for the failure can be many things, though the best people to ask are either the support reps or the engineers.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a proper answer for that here since the forums are user-driven anyways.

As for the need to replace the TV due to an LCD issue, if it IS the LCD/Display that's causing the issue, then it makes sense to replace the TV, the display is the most expensive part so I don't feel there's a contradiction/inconsistency here.

Hope this helps!

Tell me please, there is any chance to recover some money from the old tv? Selling some components or something like that? Thanks

Auction it on eBay as broken, and for spares only. People do that all the time.
