Hi

Please help.... I've hooked my new kd-65xf9005 to my ps4 pro and the picture quality is poor. it can't display 4k rgb, I have accessed the hdmi extended settings etc but it stops down to 1080p on games like horizon new dawn or even 2k hdr. my old samsung uhd was fine and dandy. 

could it be that the hdmi cable isn't a v2.0 

anyhow I'm grateful for any help

I had a similar issue connecting my PS4-PRO to my A1 OLED. 

In my instance it was due to two factors. 1, I had connected the PS4-Pro to the wrong HDMI input on the telly which didn't give me 4K, and 2, HDR settings of which in my instance I had to turn off. After that I was back to normal.

I had a similar issue with my PS4 Pro. Make sure you use the HDMI cable which came with the console and make sure you are using HDMI port 2 or 3.
