Hi everyone - has anyone experienced a grey screen with soft background music after factory reset - it’s not rebooting just get grey screen and have even tries forced factory reset? Thanks

Have you tried disconnecting it from the power mains for a few minutes? Could be a power glitch and depowering it sometimes is enough to make it go away.

hi - yes tried taking mains out and waited for a few minutes and still same problem, original fault was remote control not responding so changed batteries but had same problem, I then took power plug out and waited over 2 minutes but still had the same problem with remote, so I thought a factory reset should sort this out, did factory reset and sony logo appeared and then android came up and then after that a grey screen with diagonal lines and background music came up.

I also tried forced factory reset and the same screen is coming up, unfortunately my 5 year extended warranty expired only 2 months ago so need some assistance?

Unfortunately it seems to be a hardware glitch. Obviously you have tried everything could be done from the TV itself. Try reaching out to the Sony support reps directly though since the TV might need repairing.

Yes I think you're right, have booked in engineer for Monday through Sony approved repairer, thanks for all the help guys and lets all keep it together for Sony!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( generally very good products!!!!! )
