STR 1080 AV Receiver & KD-49XE9005 & APPLE 4K TV

Hi I have recently connected the Apple 4K TV to my receiver. I have changed the setting to enhanced for the HDMI port but the sound is only coming out as Linear PCM and also the Apple is only picking 4K SDR and not HDR. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you connected the Apple TV at VIDEO 1 ?

"The HDMI IN VIDEO 1 jack supports bandwidths of up to 9 Gbps. If your device supports high-bandwidth video
formats such as 4K/60p 4:4:4, 4:2:2, or 4K/60p 4:2:0 10 bit, connect your device to an HDMI IN jack other than
the HDMI IN VIDEO 1 jack."

I have connected through the game hdmi on the receiver

Have you used one of the two HDMI 2 or 3 ports on the TV? Also on the TV you have selected Advanced mode for these two HDMI?

Everything goes directly in to the receiver and then through the ARC HDMI. Thank you for your help as Apple TV now showing 4K HDR, however sound is still linear pcm arghhhhhh
