wifi & ethernet

Hi

Currently my Android TV is hard wired with cat 7 ethernet, for a good/fast connection to my broadband router, it works fine no problems.

Soon I will be getting a google mini home & what to integrate the TV with GH so I think I will need to turn on the wifi on the TV.

My question is can I have wifi enabled as well as ethernet connected ??

ethernet on ip V6 & wifi ip v4 maybe ????

Hi @daveP_uk,

why do you think you need to connect your TV via WiFi to your router?

The Google Home Mini will control other devices trough your home router, no matter in which way they are connected to your network.

So you can keep your TV connected via cable.

Hi @daveP_uk,

you can also try to "throw" a YouTube Video to your TV if you connect your smartphone to the same network (via WiFi) and click the "Google-Cast" symbol in the upper right hand corner of the video screen.

It looks like this: Click here
