Unfortunately, my 11 year old 50" Pioneer Plasma TV has finally given up the ghost and I have been looking into replacing it. Obviously things have moved on technology-wise over the intervening period (the Pioneer was pre 1080p) and I thought I'd take the opportunity to jump on the 4K/ UHD bandwagon. I originally had my eye on the KD-55X9005B (2014) model but now I know this is about to be superseded by KD-X9305C (2015) model, I thought I'd hold on for that.
Two Questions:-
1) does anyone know when it will be available in the UK? and
2) the 2014 model came with an optional "port replicator" which does not seem to be the case with the X93C. Does anyone know if this item is compatible with the 2015 model?
