Battery replacement for NP_FH40

My first post.

I am loosing the  will to live! I have a DCR SR32E Handycam. It's old and needs a new battery. It takes a NP-FH40.

Sony messaging help say the only recommend the exact replacement battery, they don't seem to have a helpful cross reference list to recommend another.

Sony website only offers the NP_FV50. Their supplier EET offers NP-FH50.  I could buy the NP-FH50 but would it work.

I don't want a Chinese nock off fake or one that the camera doesn't recognise.

Hi I how do you use the A9252 A9275 Powergiant 12v 2000mAH NMIH cause I’m really confused I have the same camcorder but I can’t find the battery for it
