DCR-DVD201E Driver For Vista

Having no luck in fiding a compatible driver for this Handycam. Can anyone help?

Hi groundguide and welcome.

Unfortunately, your Handycam is not compatible with Vista or Windows 7. There is no USB driver available.

You have two options: -

1. Buy a USB Video Capture Device and connect the camera with the stereo AV cable originally provided with the camera (Yellow/Red/White plugs). A capture device like this should do the job: -

2. Finalise the DVD and use that in a DVD Recorder or PC DVD drive. Check compatibility with the 8cm discs.

I keep an old PC running XP for the purpose of connecting legacy products.
