dcr-sr37 problem on green screen shot

Hi every one i'm new here..got a dcr-sr37 and had a problem when setting up a green screen shot.to my surprise when i recorded a shot of a friend moving & waving hands and feet infront of this green screen setup, all was moving even the background(green screen behind him).tried to go in settings hope to find something about steady shot or something else but i might missing some settings on handycam and could not proceed in filming.can you help please?!

Hello ant1b78 - Welcome to the Sony Forums :slight_smile:


By default, the Steadyshot feature of the DCR-SR37 is set to 'On' within this camera. If you need to check to see whether it is active, you need to press HOME --> SETTINGS --> MOVIE SETTINGS --> STEADYSHOT and then select as required.


When using a tripod, it is recommended that you turn off this feature in order to get a more 'Natural' looking shot. This is described on page 66 of the manual which can be downloaded here for your convenience:

..sure it was my lack not reading the manual before the use of that setup.. will try another shot on a green screen and let you know
