Sony FDR-AX700 connection to Gimbal

Hi, a question regarding my Sony FDR-AX700 connection to Manfrotto MVG460 Gimbal. I am trying to connect my camera to the above Gimbal using the proper connection cable USB from the Gimbal as seen in Picture belowIMG_0857.JPG

I then connect the lead to my FDR-AX700 as seen in the picture below.

When I turn on the Camera and Gimbal I get the following message on the screen, I cannot make any connection to operate my Camera stop/start from my Gimbal. Any help would be helpful.

mmmmm 🤔

seem that your camera is configured as “mass storage”, try to choose a different selection here

On Manfrotto site is not clear if AX700 is supported.

You have to cross fingers 🤞

I feel the Camera may not be compatible to the Manfrotto Gimbal.

But are you able to stabilize the camera without cable connection?
