What does the 'E' mean in HDR-XR105E

Hi,

What is the difference between the Handycams HDRCX730E and HDRCX730, I have unfortunaltey had some expensive damage on my current camera and am looking to buy a new camera and notice that the model with the suffix 'E' is more expensive, but the spec looks the same for the two models.

Many thanks

Maritn

Hi Martin.

Both models are probably the same - the suffix "E" just means it is made for the European market and is often omitted by sellers.  If it is for sale in the European Union, it will be a HDR-CX730E.  This is the only model on the Sony UK website: -

You may possibly find both listed on somewhere like Amazon - but not from the same seller!
