My RX10 III is telling me that the function S A and P are currently disabled I don’t know how I disabled but would really like them enabled again. Any ideas please.

sorry, I don't possess that camera hence can only guess.

In the manual I've found this explanation. Maybe that helps? Just an idea. However, in the "locked" stadium you should not be able to change to any other mode.
